...AND THE WORLD CRIES ON
The great iroko stands tall
And roses blooms beautifully
Where are the hibiscus? The herbs, the strong head coconut tree.
How about that one you use for your green tea?
And not to forget the sweet apple tree.
Nature nurtured them all.
But why has my iroko fallen?
My roses are losing their beauty.
What happened to hibiscus, my herbs, where can I find my strong head?
I taste something poisonous in my apples.
The world cries but no response.
The world cries on.
When the sun shines, we're suppose to make hay
But when the rain falls,we all run away
What's the true essence of photosynthesis
When the rain that falls has been polluted with the dust that comes from your profit oriented company's.
The world is in pain. And it cries with no response.
Did you forget that land is a free gift?
Did you forget that your fathers don't know it's origin
Yet you call it your father land.
And did you forget that when you die,
this same land it ever ready to gracefully accept you all.
So why fight for something that calls you on.
